Civil Registration System(CRS) for State Bureau of Health, Maharashtra.
DescriptionThe project is for the Public Health Department, Government of Maharashtra. Civil Registration System is a web-based application developed in open source for data entry of birth, death and stillbirth records from 350 blocks (Taluka) concurrently all over the Maharashtra. The data will be online and saved to NDC server. Various statistical reports including rural and urban (approx. 100+ reports) are generated from the software. The District Officers can generate the district level statistical reports and the office of State Bureau of Health Intelligence & Vital Statistics can generate state-level reports for Maharashtra government. Software Development Platform JDK 1.5, Postgres 8.4, Tomcat 6.0, Hibernate2.1.8 , Spring 2.0.4, Eclipse 3.2, iReport1.3.2, Log4j. Functionality of CRS application • Data entry of Birth, death and still birth registrations all over the Maharashtra state • Generate 100+ statistical reports of Birth, Death and Still Birth • Division wise, District wise and Taluka wise monitoring reports for data entry • Operator wise data entry count. • Audit trail report • User creation and password change functionality • Users roles and permission (Super User/ Data Entry/ District Officer) • Various masters like Delivery place, delivery types, disease master, occupation, etc. Advantage of CRS • Timely generation of state level yearly statistical reports of birth, death and still birth at the end of the year. This will help higher authorities of the department in analysis of birth and death trends. • At any moment of time, Monitoring of the data entry will be easy both at district level and state level • Entered data of entire state will be at one place on a single server.
