Integrated Land Records (e-Jamin)

Description

Integrated land records management system was planned in Gujarat in 2010 and implemented during August 2010 to February 2011. Under the project, all land records and registration records were converted to centralized format and brought to central servers at State Data Center (SDC). New software system was introduced through which when registration takes place, automatic mutation gets registered for agriculture land. Administratively, Land records and Registration offices brought together at mamlatdar office (Taluka) and opened approximately 75+ new sub registrar offices where SRO were not present. E-Stamping counters were also established in each taluka mamlatdar office in each e-Jamin Kendra. As on today, all talukas of Gujarat state from 26 districts having dedicated connectivity and functioning fully online and processing almost 80000 mutations every month and out of, 25% mutations are of agriculture land as SALE mutation. Under NLRMP scheme, Resurvey of land records is also going on in full swing. Resurvey activities having different stages like selection of agency, setting up ground control network (GCN), preparation of land records along with other records for DILR, notices for public hearing and at last promulgation. Survey activities completed in one district and other nine are at different stages starting from setting up GCN to promulgation. The record of Right copies are also made availble from gram panchayats.
