Objective/Description
Online Portal for Government Recruitment is an online application facility for recruitment to posts in government departments from citizen of Puducherry. It also facilitates the recruitment conducting department to carry out back end process like scrutiny of application, preparation of hall ticket and so on. SMS integration enabled department to alert the applicant on important events such as status of application, hall ticket download, exam alerts, results etc.. Introduction of Bar codes in the applications helped the department in back end process a lot.

Implementation Status
This software was used in the conduct of recruitment to the posts like LDC, UDC, Senior Clerk, VAO, Staff Nurse, ACTO, Welfare Inspector, Conductress, Field Assistant, Paramedical posts, Junior Inspectors, Library and Information Assistant. Outcome/Impact
Complete computerization of the recruitment activities help department to save time in examination, evaluation process and avoid manual error in making data entry of applications received offline.
