Online Registration Under Rule 45 of MCDR Act 1988


Registration Under Rule 45 of MCDR Act 1988 is an online web based application to register any individual, association of individuals, firm or company engaged in mining, mineral trading, export or import of minerals, mineral stocking or end use consumer of minerals. This registration is mandatory according to the amended Rule 45 (known as Form-M) of Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 1988. The Regulatory body to register such persons is Indian Bureau of Mines (Form M). The system has been developed and implemented in 2011. Some of the main features of the system are- • A database has been built, for the first time in the country, for Each and every person doing any business in Mining Industry. • Any transaction in mining related activity must quote the registration number of IBM which would be generated through this system. • 24x7 online registration • Two levels of scrutiny of the registration data. • Paper less communication (through email) to the parties concerned. • Every applicant is provided his/her own credentials to edit the permitted data if required in future. • Application is secured and passed by the NIC security audit group. • User friendly and Role based MIS for Indian Bureau of Mines and applicants/registrants. • Status of applications available on the website of Ministry of Mines and Indian Bureau of Mines.
