PPSC-ISR is a role based configurable CMS interface which allows Creation of various types of Advertisements, Publishing /Closing of Advertisements as per Schedule, on-line registration by the candidates, offline registration facility under admin panel, online generation and availability of admit cards and roll numbers centre wise, centre wise availability of list of eligible candidates, allotment of test venue etc. It also allows the nodal department/PPSC to monitor, manage, modify, approve and reject the data as per requirement, through admin control panel at any stage. The role based content management system made available requires no dependence of the user department on the website administrator/NIC for updating details on daily basis, and has a strong Approval/Rejection Mechanism at every stage It also allows generation of various types of MIS report and a dashboard for senior management. Intimation on successful registration, receipt of payment and generation of admit card/exam centre/venue to candidates through eMail and SMS is also available.

Objective/Description 1.To devise an ICT enabled system which expedites the process of candidate selection for government job with speed and transparency. 2.To ensure complete solution to PPSC for speedy and transparent recruitment process. 3.To ensure instant availability of online submission of application form for various posts to candidates from their premises. 4.To provide data security and reduce legal actions from applicants. 5.To ensure expenditure saving incurred by the applicant and recruiting agency by eliminating the sale of application forms 6.To ensure intimation of acceptance of application form, admit card/call letter to candidates through SMS and email. 7.Integration of payment gateway and acceptance of fee online 8.Restricts submission of applications by enforcing Validation Rules. 9.An Eco-Friendly system due to less consumption of papers at all level.

Implementation Status Operational since June 2013 total number of 22 advertisements covering 54 posts including PCS preliminary and Mains have been completed using this portal. Till date 52057 candidates have registered through this portal

Outcome/Impact Transparency - Online availability of all applications and related data has brought greater transparency in whole recruitment process. Efficiency - Processing of online submitted applications as per govt. requirements has become very easy and less time consuming. Generation of allotments of test centres, creation of admit card and facility for downloading to the candidates has brought high level of efficiency in the system Secrecy - Information/Data Security is governed electronically, information access has been given to authorized personnel’s only by using role based access. Payment gateway – In addition to manual fees payments by the applicants, candidates can submit the fee online thereby providing convenience to candidates as well as PPSC. Timeliness - Due to automation of major manual processes, the whole exercise can be completed within shortest possible time. Cost effectiveness – Eliminated manual cumbersome process of scrutiny, processing, printing, safe handling Real time updation: It has enabled PPSC to manage their portal without intervention and reduced dependence on NIC.
