SARTHI: Registration Process
Sarthi is an ambiguous E-Governance project for the State Government. The objective of this project was to replace the traditional manual practices by a more efficient and effective single window services to the common man. It included the services of sale of immovable property, lease, Gift, Partition, Mortgage, Bond and Power of attorney etc. Presently this project has been implemented at 187 Tehsil and sub registrar offices with the help of NIC District Offices and the resources created under Land Records Computerization project.
Features of Sarthi:
- Manage the revenue collection more effectively.
- Uniform stamp duty collection.
- Archival of scanned documents.
- Reduction in registration time.
Hardware:Under this project presently each Tehsil is equipped with 2 Computers,2 Printers , 1 Bio- Metric Device, 1 UPS & AC. Out it one computer & printer is exclusively being used for Registration & Stamps work at 187 Tehsils. In these tehsils, Tehsildar is an ex-officio registrar where. The trained resource person is operating the registration work in additional to LRC work.
Cyber Cafe:Presently 950 Cyber cafes are authorized to issue RoR in all 32 districts. Out of located 635 in rural area and 315 in urban area. The Cyber café are issuing the RoR from 1st January 2006. By this time they have issued more 165000 copies. The owners of cyber have managed their own hardware and Internet connectivity. They are allowed to access the site and issued the authorized RoR.
