SMS based Grievance Monitoring System for Municipal Corporation


Earlier Grievances Monitoring System (GMS) is a facility extended for the benefit of citizens to lodge their Grievances at any of the eJan Sampark centres established by Chandigarh Administration for the convenience of citizens. Citizens can lodge grievances pertaining to any department of the Chandigarh administration. The department concerned is to redress the grievance within 10 days. Now, Municipal Corporation has launched GMS specifically for utility & public services such as Water Supply, Electrical, Health & Sanitation, etc. All the Grievances are directly forwarded to concerned Junior Engineer (JE) for needful. Once the Grievance is addressed, JE can update the status of the Grievances by sending one SMS. Applicant & higher authorities get the status of Grievance on SMS as well as ONLINE on website.
