Dr. Neeta Verma, DG, NIC in her address at Elets Annual Healthcare Innovation Summit 2019, highlighted the role of technology in the healthcare sector and spoke about NIC’s eHospital system that ensures efficient delivery of health services in more than 300 hospitals across the country. The event was held at Delhi on 10-11 December 2019.

NIC developed e-Hospital is an open source health information management system (HMIS), which is configurable and easily customizable with multi-tenancy support. It is designed to deploy in cloud infrastructure to manage multiple hospitals seamlessly and connects patients, doctors and hospitals on a single digital platform.
