NIC developed ‘Online RTE Portal’, facilitated admission of underprivileged children to private schools under Right To Education Act (RTE) in UP

NIC UP has developed online RTE portal for admission under Right To Education Act, under which guardian of Children belonging to destitute classes can apply online through the portal for seeking admission in leading private schools in nearby locations across the state. Total 88256 online applications were received on the portal from 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Out of the 71,203 verified applications, 47156 children were allotted schools through the online Lottery system using the portal.

Hon’ble MoS (I/C) for Primary Education (UP) declared the result for admission and appreciated the efforts of NIC UP in implementing RTE Project in the state.
