UPI payment facility in the eChallan on POS machines has been launched in Rajasthan. Now citizen has the option to pay their challans issued for traffic violations, through UPI, Debit & Credit Card. e-Challan is Android based mobile app, developed by NIC for Transport Enforcement Officers & Traffic Policemen, to generat e-Challans against violation of traffic rules. This app is integrated with eGRAS and Vahan & Sarathi applications of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
