Disaster Assistance Monitoring and Payment System (DAMPS) of Odisha

NIC Odisha received Award of Appreciation for Disaster Assistance Monitoring and Payment System (DAMPS) of Odisha. DAMPS facilitates payment of ex-gratia to next of kin of persons losing their lives due to disasters in the shortest possible time. This paperless digital platform linking field level revenue officials at the lowest level to the Government could provide the disaster Assistance to the entitled citizens without any hassles. The platform integrates Crime and Criminal Tracking Networking System (CCTNS) police and IFMS of Finance Department to transfer the assistance directly to bank account of beneficiary on DBT mode.
